South African Airways in partnership with Stanbic Bank and Kampala Serena Hotel is organising the 5th South African Wine festival at the Kampala Serena Hotel in Uganda on Friday 24th October 2014.

The event is expected to attract over 400 guests including trade, media and VIP Corporate clients, Diplomats and Senior Government Officials.

This year’s tasting will focus on celebration of 20 years of democracy in South Africa and will highlight developments in the wine industry since the advent of democracy and promote awareness of the South African category and introduce new brands into the Uganda market.

The tasting will be a walk around, white table cloth format. Trade, media & consumers, as well as portfolio managers working in the food and beverage/hospitality industry will be invited to the event.

All producers are invited to apply and secure a table.

Please note that only 30 tables are available for this event and applications will be handled on first come first serve basis.

• Go back to the Home page and click on “Submit Trade Show Documentation”
• Select “Contact information”
• Complete the required fields with the contact details of the person/s who will need to receive all the show details
• When done, please click on “Register” to complete the process

DTI SSAS FUNDING

Wines of South Africa will coordinate an application to the DTI SSAS Funding for assistance of emerging businesses to participate at the South African Wine Festival Kampala, Uganda.

If you are interested to participate at this show using the SASS Funding scheme, please contact Lesley@wosa.co.za for SASS Funding application form. You are required to complete and submit the form with all supporting documents to the WOSA offices for the attention of Lesley Achilles by no later than Friday 20 June 2014 before 16:00. Please note that the dti will fund a maximum of 15 companies per show and applications will therefore be handled on first come first serve basis (No late submissions will be accepted and funding thereof will be subject to approval of our application by the DTI).

All Small, Medium and Micro-sized Enterprises (up to 200 employees with annual turnover of no more than R25million) can apply for this funding.
